Alexandra’s Africa – a niche, sustainable, safari and retreat tour operating company, is aiming to help young people at risk of long-term unemployment by offering kickstarter jobs through the UK Governments Kickstarter Job Placement scheme.
These UK based roles are being offered by the UK Alexandra’s Africa office, and include 2 positions, one in social media and one in website editing/design. Training and mentoring will be offered relating to the roles, but also on wider activities, such as CV writing, planning, time management and dealing with enquiries. Plenty of scope too for creative development and for learning about the tourism industry, and sustainability in tourism.
Jobs from the Kickstart Scheme are open to 16-24 year olds, who are claiming Universal Credit, and are at risk of long term unemployment.
Young people who qualify should contact their local job centre for further information 👉 Job Centre
